The Metromax 4 is a 42"W x 24"D x 54"H stationary shelving unit designed with an all polymer corrosion-proof construction, featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The shelf mats, beams, and posts incorporate built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection to enhance hygiene. Each shelf benefits from circumferential capture of corner posts, ensuring superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction supports a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when evenly distributed. For mobile options, the unit combines a Metromax I bottom shelf with Metromax 4 upper shelves using posts and casters, allowing for the transportation of a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) when evenly distributed. Units can be assembled easily, as preassembled shelves mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts and can be adjusted in increments of 1" (25 mm). The shelves and polymer posts are backed by a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the unit is NSF listed for all environments.
