Metromax 4 is an all-polymer corrosion-proof shelving system featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The shelf mats, beams, and posts are enhanced with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection. Each shelf ensures circumferential capture of corner posts, providing superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction supports stationary units with a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) evenly distributed. Mobile units are created by combining a Metromax I bottom shelf with Metromax 4 upper shelves, posts, and casters, allowing for a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed during transportation. The units are designed for easy assembly, with preassembled shelves that mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts, adjustable in 1" (25 mm) increments. Shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion and are NSF listed for use in all environments.
