The Metromax 4 is a 48" W x 24" D x 54" H stationary shelving unit constructed entirely of polymer, ensuring corrosion-proof durability. This shelving system features removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections, with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection integrated into the shelf mats, beams, and posts. All shelves boast circumferential capture of corner posts, providing superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction allows the stationary units to support a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when the weight is evenly distributed. Additionally, mobile units are formed by combining a Metromax I bottom shelf with Metromax 4 upper shelves, posts, and casters, enabling a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) when evenly distributed. The units are designed for easy assembly, with preassembled shelves that mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts, adjustable in 1" (25 mm) increments. Both the shelves and polymer posts are backed by a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the product is NSF listed for all environments.
