Metromax 4 is an all polymer corrosion proof shelving system featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The kit includes shelf mats, beams, and posts, all of which are equipped with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection. Each shelf provides circumferential capture of corner posts for enhanced stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction allows stationary units to support a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when evenly distributed. Mobile units are designed using a combination of a Metromax I bottom shelf and Metromax 4 upper shelves, along with posts and casters, enabling carts to transport up to 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. The assembly process is straightforward, with preassembled shelves that mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts, adjustable in 1" (25 mm) increments. Both shelves and polymer posts are backed by a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the system is NSF listed for all environments.
