Metromax 4 is an all polymer corrosion-proof shelving system featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The kit includes shelf mats, beams, and posts with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection. All shelves are designed with circumferential capture of corner posts to ensure superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction allows for stationary units to support a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when weight is evenly distributed. Mobile units consist of a Metromax I bottom shelf and Metromax 4 upper shelves combined with posts and casters, allowing carts to transport a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. Units are easy to assemble, with preassembled shelves mounting on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts that can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. Both the shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the system is NSF listed for all environments.
