The Metromax 4 is a 24"W x 24"D x 74"H stationary unit that features an all polymer corrosion-proof shelving system, including removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The shelf mats, beams, and posts are equipped with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection, ensuring a hygienic storage solution. Each shelf boasts circumferential capture of corner posts for enhanced stability, performance, and structural integrity. The rigid construction allows for a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) evenly distributed across the stationary units. For mobile configurations, the Metromax I bottom shelf can be combined with Metromax 4 upper shelves, along with posts and casters, to create carts capable of transporting a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. Assembly is straightforward, as preassembled shelves mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts and can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. Both the shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion and are NSF listed for all environments.
