The Metromax 4 is a stationary shelving unit measuring 36"W x 24"D x 74"H, designed with an all polymer corrosion-proof shelving system that includes removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. Each component, including shelf mats, beams, and posts, is equipped with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection to enhance hygiene. The shelves are designed with circumferential capture of corner posts, ensuring superior stability, performance, and structural integrity. With a rigid construction, the unit supports a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when the weight is evenly distributed. For mobile applications, the system can include a Metromax I bottom shelf and Metromax 4 upper shelves combined with posts and casters, capable of transporting a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. Assembly of the units is straightforward, with preassembled shelves mounting on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts, adjustable in 1" (25 mm) increments. Both shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the unit is NSF listed for all environments.
