The Metromax 4 is a 42"W x 24"D x 74"H stationary shelving unit designed with an all polymer corrosion-proof construction, featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. The shelf mats, beams, and posts are equipped with Microban antimicrobial product protection, ensuring hygiene and safety. Each shelf has circumferential capture of corner posts, which enhances stability, performance, and structural integrity. This rigid construction allows for a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when evenly distributed across the unit. For mobile applications, the Metromax I bottom shelf can be combined with Metromax 4 upper shelves, supported by posts and casters, enabling the carts to transport a maximum total unit load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. Assembly is straightforward, as the preassembled shelves mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts and can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. The shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the unit is NSF listed for all environments.
