The Metromax 4 is a 48"W x 24"D x 74"H stationary shelving unit constructed from an all polymer corrosion-proof material, featuring removable open grid or solid shelf mat sections. Each shelf mat, beam, and post is equipped with built-in Microban antimicrobial product protection, ensuring hygienic storage. The design includes circumferential capture of corner posts, which enhances stability, performance, and structural integrity. This rigid construction supports a maximum capacity of 2000 lbs. (907 kg) when evenly distributed. The mobile units are composed of a Metromax I bottom shelf and Metromax 4 upper shelves, mounted on posts and casters, allowing them to transport a maximum total load of 600 lbs. (272 kg) evenly distributed. The unit is designed for easy assembly, with preassembled shelves that mount on four one-piece wedges along numbered posts and can be adjusted in 1" (25 mm) increments. The shelves and polymer posts come with a lifetime warranty against rust and corrosion, and the unit is NSF listed for all environments.
