The American Standard Commercial 5901100.020 Open Front Toilet Seat is designed to fit an elongated bowl and features an open front design without a cover. Constructed from injection molded solid polypropylene, it includes large molded-in bumpers for added stability. The seat is equipped with an external check hinge made of 304 series stainless steel hinge posts that allows the seat to stay 11° beyond vertical. Additionally, it incorporates an EverClean® surface, which inhibits the growth of stain- and odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew, though it does not protect against disease-causing bacteria, viruses, germs, or other disease-causing organisms.
