The Plastic Air Brake Glad Hand Lock - Keyed Different is designed to help prevent unscheduled departures from your dock bay by securely immobilizing trailers during loading or unloading. This device acts as a harness around the air intake valve of the emergency brake system, ensuring that the trailer cannot be moved until the lock is removed. Installation and removal of the lock can be accomplished in seconds, and the cylinder lock mechanism prevents removal without the appropriate key. Dock supervisors can assign specific keys to loads, ensuring that the correct driver is associated with the right load. The molded plastic construction is ideal for high-volume docks, and each lock features a unique keying arrangement, limited to a maximum of 60 individual keys for added security. If no key number is specified when ordering, a keyed alike number will be randomly selected.
