The WESCO® Liftkar® SAL Series powered stair climbing appliance truck is a highly advanced stair climbing hand truck designed to reduce worker fatigue and minimize the risk of injury while delivering cargo. This innovative equipment features an edge-of-step sensor that activates the brake as the truck approaches the next step, ensuring excellent load control and preventing accidental rolling down stairs. It includes dual-speed control to accommodate various working environments. The kit comes with a quick-change 24-volt sealed maintenance-free battery pack and charger, providing outstanding performance with a maximum of 200 to 300 steps for ascending and 400 to 600 for descending on a fully charged battery. The lightweight and durable aluminum frame ensures longevity, while ergonomically designed handles with a non-slip rubber coating maximize user comfort. Note that the noseplate is sold separately and is required for operation. Various styles and sizes are available to meet specific material moving needs.
