The clear drain seals are designed to eliminate guesswork regarding their effectiveness by providing a visible indication of spills entering the drain through surface cracks, grating imperfections, or other irregularities that may compromise the seal. Constructed with reinforcing mesh "sandwiched" between layers of polyurethane, these seals offer increased durability and resistance to tearing. The unique polyurethane material allows the pad to deform and create a seal over most drains while adhering to any smooth surface, making it ideal for emergency response plans, spill kits, SPCC, or stormwater management programs. The seals are reusable as long as they haven't been exposed to chemicals that cause degradation and can typically be cleaned with soap and water. However, they are not recommended for long-term use. These seals help ensure compliance with SPCC and NPDES regulations and are manufactured in the USA.
