The Ideal Warehouse Sure-Lite LED dock traffic light is designed to enhance communication between truck drivers and dock attendants, effectively reducing the risk of accidents in high-traffic dock areas. This cost-effective solution includes LED lights with an impressive illumination life of up to 100,000 hours (10 years) of continuous use, consuming 30% less energy than traditional incandescent alternatives, eliminating the need for bulb or lens replacements. The non-glare LED lights provide a 30° viewing angle, ensuring high visibility in both day and night conditions. Constructed from thick black, stress-relieved, sanitized HDP (high-density polyethylene) panel core, the lights are resistant to pitting, rust, and corrosion. The low-profile housing design enhances impact resistance, and the recessed LED lights on the panel face help prevent damage. The light fixture operates on a 12V/24V power supply, which is typically available through dock leveler control boxes, and can function in a temperature range of -40°F to 185°F. Additionally, Sure-Dock alignment lights aid truck drivers in accurately positioning their trucks and trailers within the dock bay, outlining the docking area for easy spotting of trailers at the loading dock. It is recommended to use the lights in pairs; however, please note that a switch box is not included in the package.
