Designed for installation on potable water lines to protect against both backsiphonage and backpressure of polluted water into the potable water supply, this assembly includes a test cock plug to prevent fouling caused by insects, dirt, and debris. It offers protection where a potential non-health hazard exists. The standards compliance applies to 3/4" through 2" horizontal ASSE listed 1015 (vertical flow-up: 1 1/4" through 2"), and is IAPMO listed, CSA certified (vertical flow-up: 1 1/2" and 2"), and AWWA compliant C510. It is approved by the Foundation for Cross Connection Control and Hydraulic Research at the University of Southern California, and is NSF listed under Standard 61, Annex G, certified to NSF/ANSI 372 by IAPMO R&T.
