JET has engineered a gear box that permits cutting of a wide variety of materials and is backed by an industry-leading two-year warranty. The saws feature a cast iron frame, a solid one-piece steel base for extra stability, a conveniently located on/off switch, and a variable speed drive system (8201VS & 8203VS). The exclusive gear box design allows these saws to effectively handle wood, metal, non-ferrous metals, and plastic cutting applications. Additional components include a miter gauge, dust chute, saw blades for both wood and metal, and an adjustable table. These saws are designed to cut and resaw various materials, including wood, plastic, Bakelite, composites, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, and are capable of cutting delicate curves in both thick and thin stock.
