The cabinetry is formed from compressed wood with a laminate finish and features a solid fiberboard back for enhanced strength and rigidity. It includes strong hardboard shelves that create basic letter-size compartments, which are adjustable to increase the size of individual compartments for storing books, 3-ring binders, or personal mementos. Additionally, the kit includes a metal rod adapter designed to store and organize CDs in the bottom two compartments. The black plastic molding not only complements the overall finish but also serves as a convenient labeling area.
