The Max Memory Electronic Check Writer, model MXBEC30A, is designed for both business and personal checks, featuring a 10-digit, 1-column capability with a simple key-entry operation that allows for the input of up to 14 digits plus symbols. It automatically prints dollar and cent symbols, commas, and decimals, and has the ability to create the original check plus two carbons. The check writer accommodates an area of up to 3-1/8" for processing checks and includes an LCD display for easy readability of amounts. Additionally, it keeps track of the total number of checks processed and calculates the total dollar amount of all checks issued. A void key is available for canceling incorrectly printed checks, and its functions include printing, repeat printing, and correction via a clear key. To enhance security against forgery, the device embosses dollar and cent symbols both before and after the amount. The check writer comes with a black ink roll, operates on AC power, and has a weight of 4 lb with an 8' cable length.
