The IKO inner ring for shell type needle roller bearing is designed for applications with a 2-1/2 inch bore and a 2-3/4 inch outer diameter, featuring a width of 25.78 mm, with part number IRB4016. These inner rings are heat-treated and precision ground to ensure rigidity and high accuracy. They are specifically used in situations where shafts cannot be hardened to a Rockwell hardness of HRC 58 to 64, and where achieving a surface finish of 0.2 µm Ra or less is not feasible.
