The Sunex® Fuel Tank Adapter, model 7706, is designed to facilitate the removal, installation, and movement of emptied automotive gas tanks with a 40-gallon capacity. The kit includes foam pads that adjust for height, width, and length, ensuring compatibility with various 40-gallon gas tank configurations. It features a quick and easy installation process onto all ratcheting finger transmission jack saddles and includes a universal adapter plate for use with other saddles. The ground wire assembly helps prevent static electric discharge, particularly on older metal tanks, while two 8' tie-down straps secure the tank firmly to the adapter.
