The RIB® Dry Contact Input Relay RIB21CDC-RD is an enclosed, pilot relay designed for use with a voltage range of 120-277VAC and features a current rating of 10A with SPDT contacts. This series provides all the advantages of the standard RIB line while being activated by a variety of dry contacts, including thermostats, switches, other relays, and solid-state switches. It offers low-voltage (Class 2) power to activate the relay, which is self-powered upon closing the dry-contact input. The relay can be energized using a separate pair of wires from the control output of the controller or from a local power source near the relay. Its relay contacts are isolated from both the input power and the dry contact input, allowing for the switching of various power-loads or low-voltage loads, as specified by its contact ratings. The RIB21CDC model is versatile and operable across a voltage range of 120VAC to 277VAC, with specifications available for the input power of other models. The unit includes a warranty of five years.
