The Dry Contact Input RIB series combines the benefits of the standard RIB line with the ability to be activated by various dry contacts, including thermostats, switches, other relays, and solid-state switches. This series provides low-voltage (Class 2) power necessary to activate the relay in a self-powered manner, requiring only the closure of the dry contact input. It can source power via a separate pair of wires alongside the control output from the controller or utilize a local power supply close to the relay. The relay contacts are isolated from the input power and dry contact input, allowing them to switch other power loads or low-voltage loads per the specifications for contact ratings. The model RIB21CDC is versatile, capable of operating on a voltage range from 120VAC to 277VAC, with additional models available for varying input power specifications.
