The RIB® enclosed split-core AC sensor RIBXGF is designed for fixed current sensing within the range of .35-150A and operates at 30VAC/DC, featuring wire leads. The X series includes current sensors equipped with either a 10 or 20 amp relay. An internal 10 amp relay is capable of activating an external contactor, while currents up to 150 amps are sensed externally utilizing a solid or split current sensing ring. Certain models are designed to control and sense loads up to 20 amps without the need for an external current ring, thereby reducing installation time significantly. Available models offer fixed or adjustable current sensing trigger points and can provide voltage output. Externally visible LEDs serve to indicate the operational status of the relay coil and the trigger of the current sensor. Additionally, some models feature a (closed-open-auto) override switch, which is a true override switch located on the load side of the relay.
