The RIB® enclosed split-core AC sensor RIBXG420-100 is a fixed model designed to handle currents from 1 to 100A, featuring a 4-20mA transmitter with wire leads. This X series includes current sensors equipped with or without a 10 or 20 amp relay. An internal 10 amp relay allows for the activation of an external contactor, while currents up to 150 amps can be sensed externally through a solid or split current sensing ring. Additionally, other models are capable of controlling and sensing loads of up to 20 amps without requiring an external current ring, which significantly reduces installation time. The sensors are available with fixed or adjustable current sensing trigger points, as well as voltage output options. Externally visible LEDs provide an indication of the status of the relay coil and current sensor trigger. Certain models feature a closed-open-auto override switch, which is a true override switch located on the load side of the relay.
