The RIB® dry contact input relay RIB02SBDC is an enclosed relay designed for use with 208-277VAC, featuring a 20A SPST contact configuration with an override capability. This relay is part of the dry contact input RIB series, which can be activated by a variety of dry contacts including thermostats, switches, and other relays. The dry contact input RIB provides the necessary low-voltage (Class 2) power to activate the relay in a self-powered manner simply by closing the dry-contact input. The power required to energize the relay can be supplied through a separate pair of wires alongside the controller's control output or from a local power source near the relay. The relay contacts are isolated from both the input power and the dry contact input, allowing them to switch various power loads or low-voltage loads as per the specifications for contact ratings. Additionally, the model RIB21CDC can operate across a voltage range of 120VAC to 277VAC, with specifications available for the input power of other models.
