The Dry Contact Input RIB series provides the benefits of the standard RIB line while enabling activation by a variety of dry contacts, including thermostats, switches, and other relays. This self-powered relay requires low-voltage (Class 2) power to operate, activated simply by closing the dry-contact input. Power to energize the relay can either be supplied through a separate pair of wires from the controller or sourced locally near the relay. The relay contacts are isolated from the input power and dry contact input, allowing for the switching of diverse power loads or low-voltage loads, according to the specifications for contact ratings. The series includes models like the RIB21CDC, which can operate on a voltage range of 120VAC - 277VAC, with other models available for different input power specifications.
