The RIB® Dry Contact Input Relay RIB01SBDC-NC is an enclosed relay designed for use with a 120VAC power supply and has a 20A SPST-NC configuration with override functionality. This relay within the dry contact input RIB series can be activated by a variety of dry contacts, including thermostats, switches, other relays, and solid-state switches. It provides the necessary low-voltage (Class 2) power to activate the relay, operating on a self-powered basis when the dry contact input is closed. The relay can be powered through a separate pair of wires or from a local power source located near the relay. The relay contacts are isolated from the input power and the dry contact input, allowing for the switching of other power loads or low-voltage loads based on the specifications for contact ratings.
