The Flowtron® Diplomat fly control device model FC-8800 is an effective, economical, and safe solution for indoor and outdoor fly control. This device combines ultraviolet black light energy with exclusive reflector panels and a special fly-attracting pheromone lure to provide powerful fly control while being ecologically safe and economical to operate. Flies and other light-sensitive flying insects are attracted by the ultraviolet light and special lure, and are eliminated as they fly through the electrostatically charged killing grid. Dead insects drop into a sanitary, removable collection chamber, ensuring cleanliness. The FC-8800 is suitable for installation in environments such as restaurants, food processing plants, retail food stores, meat-packing plants, barns, and stables, where the use of toxic chemicals is dangerous, undesirable, or banned. Features include Glo-tube reflectors that intensify blacklight radiation for enhanced luring power, a patented high-efficiency vertical rod killing grid that prevents clogging, and controlled grid power that provides clean kills without airborne contamination. The device includes a free fly lure that increases effectiveness in attracting and killing house and garbage flies, and it does not require glue boards. The FC-8800 is UL and CSA listed and meets USDA and FDA guidelines. It comes with a one-year limited manufacturer's warranty.
