The Steel Stock Tank 50130148 is a round tank with a capacity of approximately 340 gallons, specifically designed for livestock watering needs. Constructed to withstand the harshest farm and ranch conditions, it features a corrosion-resistant, heavy zinc coating for enhanced longevity. The tank is reinforced with rigid sidewalls that incorporate both ribs and corrugations, maximizing strength. It has heavy galvanized bottoms made of 20-gauge steel and includes a heavy, reinforced steel tube rolled into the top lip for additional durability. The drain plug is strategically positioned 1-1/2 inches from the bottom and is offset by 3 to 4 inches, depending on the tank size. Note that tank sizes are nominal and will be slightly less than the stated capacity. For efficient freight costs, two tanks of the same size can be nested, which necessitates undersized inner tanks. This product comes with a limited warranty applicable only to farming applications.
