The RWM Casters 5" x 2" V-groove iron wheel features a roller bearing suitable for a 1/2" axle and boasts an 800 lb. capacity. These V-groove wheels are constructed from high-strength cast iron (VI) castings or forged steel (VF) forgings, precisely machined with a 90° groove designed for operation on an inverted angle iron track. They are specifically engineered to facilitate the flow of loads, such as transporting items into an oven, between machines, or over extended distances in a production line scenario. It is essential to ensure that the inverted angle iron track is parallel to maintain smooth and consistent tracking. In certain applications, it may also be beneficial to utilize inverted angle iron on one side with V-groove wheels, while incorporating flat bar stock steel on the opposite side with flat-faced cast iron or forged steel wheels.
