RWM Casters offers a 6" x 2" V-groove iron wheel featuring a roller bearing designed for a 1/2" axle with a load capacity of 1000 lb. The V-groove wheels are constructed from high strength cast iron (VI) castings or forged steel (VF) forgings and are precisely machined with a 90° groove, enabling operation on an inverted angle iron track. These wheels are ideal for controlling the flow of loads in various applications, such as transporting items into an oven, between machines, over extended distances, or when a "production line" sequence is necessary. It is critical to ensure that the inverted angle iron track is parallel to facilitate smooth and consistent tracking. In specific scenarios, it may be beneficial to utilize inverted angle iron on one side combined with V-groove wheels, while employing flat bar stock steel on the opposite side with flat faced cast iron or forged steel wheels.
