The RWM Casters 6" x 2" mold-on rubber wheel features a roller bearing designed for a 1/2" axle and has a capacity of 410 lbs. These wheels are constructed by molding high-quality rubber to cast iron cores, ensuring durability and performance. The mold-on rubber tread is designed to offer floor protection, long tread life, quiet operation, and high resilience, making them suitable for a variety of floor types and applications. The standard mold-on rubber tread has a durometer rating of 75 Shore A. These wheels are commonly used in cost-effective applications such as trash containers, platform trucks, and lumber carts, particularly in manually pushed scenarios. It is recommended to replace the wheels as soon as signs of cracking, chunking, or tearing appear, as they are not suitable for overloading or towing.
