The RWM Casters 5" x 2" Mold-On Rubber Wheel features a roller bearing designed for a 1/2" axle with a capacity of 400 lb. Constructed by molding high-quality rubber to cast iron cores, these wheels are floor protective, providing long tread life, quiet operation, and high resilience. The standard Mold-On rubber tread has a durometer rating of 75 Shore A, making it suitable for various types of floors and applications. These wheels are commonly used in cost-effective applications such as trash containers, platform trucks, and lumber carts, as well as many manually pushed low-cost applications. It is advised to replace these wheels once they begin to crack, chunk, or tear apart, as they do not support overloading or towing.
