The Quincy Lab slide cabinet is designed for pathological laboratories, doctors' offices, and research institutions requiring protected, compact, organized micro-slide storage. Constructed from heavy-gauge steel, the cabinet features a baked-on, rust-resistant enamel finish with a smooth, non-textured surface for easy cleaning. The stackable design incorporates interlocking tabs, allowing compatibility with other cabinets on the market. Each cabinet contains six individual drawers, capable of holding up to 5,000 standard 3" x 1" glass slides. A separate base unit provides solid support, resting on scratch-proof rubber feet. The cabinet and base are available in standard tan or Quincy clean-room ivory. Storage organization is enhanced with black phenolic pull knobs, and drawers include a safety stop to prevent accidental removal when extended yet allow for easy removal by tipping upward. Foam rubber dividers maintain slide positioning when drawers are partially filled, and identification tabs are provided for labeling. Each slide cabinet undergoes thorough inspection prior to shipment and is packaged using recyclable, biodegradable materials.
