The right-to-know safety-labeled wash bottles feature a unique 2-piece valve that prevents pressure build-up of solvents, allowing for the safe venting of volatiles and eliminating solvent drips. Each bottle is pre-printed with essential information, including the chemical name and formula, the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. The bottles are designed with a valve that eliminates drips, permitting dispensing in both upright and inverted positions, and include a wide mouth of 53 mm (2") for easy refilling. Additionally, the polypropylene closure features a leakproof design that is color-coded for easy identification. Made from translucent, LDPE that is solvent-resistant, sodium hypochlorite is stored in white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450 nm, while toluene is contained in a red LDPE bottle. These wash bottles comply with OSHA requirements as outlined in the Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200, and custom labeling is available.
