The bright red safety disposal container is designed for the safe disposal of biological/biohazard materials, broken glass, recyclables, or other waste and is suitable for both benchtop and floor placement. It features a one-piece hinged lid that protects users from contact with the contents and helps retain odors while containing airborne contaminants. The container is molded from polypropylene for a long service life and is puncture-resistant, making it autoclavable at 121°C (250°F). It is compatible with 19 x 23" autoclave bags (model numbers 13164-1923 or 13165-1923), which fit perfectly and are secured with an internal stainless steel wire bar.
