The kit is constructed using 100% synthetic polyester, designed with an optimal combination of fiber diameters, weights, and thicknesses that create an economical depth filter media. To minimize fiber migration, the polyester bags are singed. The polyester materials comply with FDA regulations for food contact as specified under CFR 21, Section 177.1520. This filter media is capable of effectively removing both solid and gelatinous particles and offers broad chemical compatibility.
