The kit is constructed using 100% synthetic polyester, featuring a proper combination of fiber diameters, weights, and thicknesses that result in an economical depth filter media. To reduce fiber migration, polyester bags are singed. The polyester materials meet FDA regulations for food contact under CFR 21, section 177.1520, ensuring safety and compliance. This filter media has the ability to remove both solid and gelatinous particles and offers broad chemical compatibility.
