The kit is constructed using 100% synthetic polyester, featuring a proper combination of fiber diameters, weights, and thicknesses that results in an economical depth filter media. To minimize fiber migration, polyester bags are singed. The polyester materials comply with FDA regulations for food contact under CFR 21, section 177.1520, ensuring safety for food applications. The filter media provides the ability to remove both solid and gelatinous particles and offers broad chemical compatibility.
