The kit is constructed using 100% synthetic polyester, featuring a proper combination of fiber diameters, weights, and thicknesses that result in an economical depth filter media. To enhance performance, polyester bags are singed to reduce fiber migration. The polyester materials comply with FDA regulations for food contact under CFR 21, Section 177.1520. This filter media is capable of removing both solid and gelatinous particles and offers broad chemical compatibility, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
