The product is constructed using 100% synthetic polyester, featuring a specific combination of fiber diameters, weights, and thicknesses that creates an economical depth filter media. To minimize fiber migration, the polyester bags are singed. The polyester materials comply with FDA regulations for food contact under CFR 21, section 177.1520. Additionally, this filter media has the capability to remove both solid and gelatinous particles, offering broad chemical compatibility.
