The Navitrack Scout locator is designed to address the most demanding remote transmitter (sonde) locates through its multi-directional locating technology. This kit includes a locator that utilizes multi-directional antenna technology to consistently capture the entire signal, allowing users to simply maximize the signal strength to identify the target without encountering nulls or false peaks. The locator features a micro-mapping display that verifies the locate position, marking distinctive poles in front of and behind the target to ensure accurate locates. It automatically calculates and displays depth when positioned over the target, making it particularly suitable for users locating SeeSnake and other sondes, as well as energized lines. Distinctive on-screen markers guide users to the target while displaying real-time signal strength with no need for gain adjustment. The device also calculates depth directly over the target and provides a mapping function to trace energized lines at four different frequencies: line trace at 128 Hz, 1 kHz, 8 kHz, and 33 kHz; passive AC line trace at 60 Hz and 50 Hz; and passive power trace at 60 Hz and 50 Hz. The Navitrack Scout meets FCC Class B and EN 55022 Class B compliance standards.
