Skatewheel curves are designed to work in conjunction with straight conveyor sections, offering flexibility in conveyor line layouts while ensuring that packages maintain their orientation through the differential action of the individual wheels. The kit includes zinc-plated steel wheels with a 50 lb wheel capacity and a galvanized steel frame for corrosion resistance, while an alternative option features mill finish aluminum wheels and frame, providing a lightweight solution with a 25 lb wheel capacity. The conveyor system supports a load capacity of up to 210 lbs per foot with the steel option and 120 lbs per foot with the aluminum alternative. Each wheel is mounted on 1/4" diameter carbon steel axles, which are threaded with locknuts and spaced on 3" centers. The wheels measure 1-15/16" in diameter, and the frame is constructed from a C-channel design with dimensions of 2.5" high by 1" leg (or 7/8" for carton flow) made from 12 ga. galvanized steel channel.
