The Stinger Rail Berm™ is a portable spill containment and control kit designed for bottom loading and unloading rail tank cars. It features a lightweight containment pad weighing 80 lbs., allowing two operators to easily lift and position it. The berm creates a 4' x 4' x 12" sump area situated between the tracks beneath the valves, intended to capture any liquid released during loading or unloading. In the event of a large spill, the collected liquid fills this primary berm and overflows to an adjacent containment compartment measuring 4' x 18" x 12"H. This outside compartment includes two drains equipped with male Cam-Loc fittings for rapid hose connection, facilitating the transport of spilled materials to a nearby containment area. The system is designed to comply with spill control requirements and provides effective temporary containment during rail tank car operations. Warranty terms are included with the product.
