The Iron Eagle® is designed to resist a wide range of substances, including fats, oils, pine tars, gasoline, grease, and a variety of other chemicals, making it suitable for demanding work environments. Ideal applications for this overall include food processing, meat packing, forestry, agriculture, petrochemical, and nuclear utilities. The overall exhibits good chemical resistance in most hydrocarbon oils, organic acids, salts, and alkalies, although it is not recommended for use with ketones, alcohols, and certain solvents.
