The Iron Eagle® jacket is resistant to fats, oils, pine tars, gasoline, grease, and numerous other chemicals, making it suitable for applications in food processing, meat packing, forestry, agriculture, petrochemical industries, and nuclear utilities. The chemical resistance is rated good against most hydrocarbon oils, organic acids, salts, alkalies, and some organic solvents, although it is not recommended for use with ketones, alcohols, and certain solvents.
