The Proto® JSCV14F black chrome combination locking flex-head ratcheting wrench 7/16" - spline features a 15° angled offset that helps keep the shank clear of obstructions. It is constructed with chrome-vanadium box ends and switch levers, providing high strength and durability. The box end is countersunk for easy application to the fastener. The spline design is specifically created for use with specialty spline bolts, which are advantageous when minimizing the weight and size of bolt heads. This design allows the wrench to contact conventional fasteners away from the corners, applying force over a larger area to reduce the risk of fastener scoring, rounding, and other damage that could lead to foreign object damage (FOD). The high contact surface area, positioned away from fastener points, enables the turning of highly rounded fasteners. Additionally, it features an anti-slip design (ASD) open end and a black chrome finish that is both corrosion-resistant and visually distinctive. The wrench is equipped with a 72-tooth ratcheting mechanism, allowing for fast rotation with only 5 degrees of swing, and is compatible with 4, 6, 12-point, spline, and Torx® fasteners.
