The Hoffman AL32 latch features a 7mm square insert and is designed to fit DL wall-mounting applications, specifically for Type 4 and 12 enclosures that include external screw clamps. The latch operates with a quarter-turn (90 degrees) mechanism for easy opening and closing. It includes an internal O-ring and external gasket to provide a water-tight and dust-tight seal. Installation requires a hole to be punched or drilled in the door for each latch, and complete instructions are provided for user convenience. For tamper-resistant applications, a square or triangular key is necessary. The latch is constructed from die-cast zinc and finished with chrome for durability.
