The Hoffman AL35Y latch kit includes a key and features a 7mm triangle design, made from steel with a zinc finish, compatible with Type 4 and Type 12 enclosures that are equipped with external screw clamps. The latch operates with a quarter-turn (90 degrees) mechanism for opening and closing. To ensure a reliable seal, the latch incorporates an internal O-ring and an external gasket, providing both water-tight and dust-tight protection. Installation necessitates the creation of a hole in the door for each latch, and complete instructions are provided with the kit. For enhanced security, a square or triangular key is required for the tamper-resistant latches. The latch itself is constructed from die-cast zinc and features a chrome finish, ensuring durability and a polished appearance.
