The Hoffman AHCI5E is a corrosion inhibitor emitter designed for spaces up to 5 cu. ft. Each unit contains a specialized chemical combination that effectively vaporizes and condenses on all surfaces within an enclosed area, ensuring comprehensive protection of interior components against corrosion. The vapor emitted redeposits as needed when moisture condenses on surfaces, eliminating the need for spraying, wiping, or greasing. This feature allows users to forgo precoating, special wraps, and drying agents, while providing ongoing protection even in salt-water atmospheres. The AHCI5E, along with the AHCI10E emitters, includes additional red-metal inhibitors for enhanced safeguarding. It is essential that enclosures containing the corrosion inhibitors are reasonably sealed to maintain effectiveness.
